ANFORA Journal is a scientific publication of Autonoma University of Manizales (UAM) aimed at researchers and, in general, national and the international academic community, that works in human sciences. “Diversidad y multiculturalidad. Retos y cambios para una sociedad diversa e inclusiva”

La revista Ánfora tiene el gusto de invitarles a participar en su nueva convocatoria: "Diversidad y multiculturalidad. Retos y cambios para una sociedad diversa e inclusiva ". Este dossier busca plantear un debate en términos de esta problemática. Se espera la participación de investigadores de diferentes regiones del mundo.

Este número especial tiene como objetivo no solo contribuir al conocimiento académico, sino también informar políticas y prácticas que promuevan una sociedad más inclusiva y justa, abordando desafíos como la discriminación, el racismo y la exclusión social. Invitamos a investigadores de las ciencias sociales y humanas a contribuir a este espacio de reflexión y debate académico.

En un mundo globalizado, las interacciones entre personas de diferentes orígenes culturales, étnicos, religiosos y lingüísticos se han intensificado, impactando profundamente la dinámica social, económica y política de las sociedades. Este número especial invita a la comunidad académica a contribuir con investigaciones que aborden los desafíos y oportunidades que surgen de estos fenómenos complejos.

Áreas de interés:

Integración y Cohesión Social: Investigaciones que exploren cómo las sociedades gestionan la diversidad cultural para fomentar la cohesión social, identificando políticas públicas y estrategias que promuevan la inclusión.
Identidad y Pertenencia: Análisis sobre cómo se construyen las identidades individuales y colectivas en contextos diversos, y su impacto en el sentido de pertenencia a comunidades y naciones.
Inclusión Educativa: Estudio de las prácticas educativas que aseguren la igualdad de oportunidades para estudiantes de diversos orígenes culturales, étnicos, y con discapacidades, abordando la adecuación curricular y la equidad en la educación.
Cultura y Representación: Artículos que investiguen el papel de la cultura popular y los medios de comunicación en la construcción de narrativas y estereotipos sobre la diversidad.
Economía y Diversidad: Investigación sobre cómo la diversidad en el lugar de trabajo impacta la productividad, la innovación y la toma de decisiones, así como las dinámicas de discriminación y disparidades salariales.

Metodologías: Se aceptarán contribuciones que empleen enfoques teóricos y metodológicos diversos, incluyendo estudios de caso, análisis cualitativos, investigaciones cuantitativas y experimentales. Neoliberalism operates differently across the regions of the world. One of the
features that reinforces the gaps between the countries of the global North and
South is related to informality. According to the International Labour Organization
(2018), 93% of informal employment is concentrated in developing countries. In
this context, a dossier is proposed that delves into and analyzes informality and the
informalization of labor comparatively, focusing on two aspects.
First, the dossier will underscore the asymmetries that exist in global markets
where Southern countries (mainly Asia and Latin America) have become the
centers of low-cost production. This phenomenon is generated by state projects
and policies that allow as well as encourage the precariousness of local labor in
competition with the global market. Second, it examines the implementation
process, under the influence of international organizations, of precarious economic
models that undermine job security and economic stability. A large group of Latin
American countries have a very weak industrial matrix that has been neglected by
the States, prioritizing precariousness, and primary-export models.
Both processes signify a large- and medium-scale political process to informalize
economies and societies, with global repercussions. There are global economic
and political elites that exercise power over the countries of the South, with the
complicity of local elites, to initiate and strengthen processes of informalization in
economies and employment.
The dossier intends to raise a debate over these terms, with the participation of
researchers from different regions. This would be the political dismissal of
informality from a global perspective. Although the two processes described above
could be the synthesis of the relationship between informality and politics on a
global scale. The dossier is open to explore additional relationships and networks.
